Workplace & Staff Charging

£500/Socket
Workplace Charging Scheme
The primary grant for businesses, charities, and public sector organisations installing EV chargepoints at commercial premises.
Covers up to 75% of purchase and installation costs.
Extended for a final year to March 2027 - and the per-socket rate increased from £350 to £500 in April 2026.

- Open to businesses, charities, schools & public sector
- Available UK-wide, OZEV-authorised installer required.

Up to £1,000,000
Depot Charging Scheme
A major multi-year programme supporting fleet operators to install charging at HGV, van, and coach depots. Following a successful pilot, the government has committed £170 million through to 2030.
The first window of the 2026–2030 programme opened in March 2026, with 70% of chargepoint and civil costs funded.
- £66 million available across two windows in 2026.
- Window 1: open to 30 June 2026 - assessed first-come, first-served.
- Open to public and private sector fleet operators UK-wide.
- Must operate at least one battery electric van, HGV or coach.
Tax Relief
Beyond grants: tax advantages too
100% First-Year Capital Allowance on EV chargepoint installations - deduct the full cost from taxable profits in year one. Valid until 31 March 2027 for Corporation Tax.
Low Benefit-in-Kind rates for EV company cars - just 4% in 2026/27, rising gradually to 9% by 2029. Dramatically lower than petrol or diesel alternatives.
Tax-free workplace charging for employees - no taxable benefit if conditions are met, making chargepoints a low-cost perk with real staff retention value.

Step 5. Ongoing Support
We provide system commissioning, staff briefing, and a maintenance package to keep your infrastructure performing - with remote monitoring and rapid response when you need it.
